Setting Up Your Dashboards and Customer Funnel
Once you've set up your initial settings, it's time to configure your dashboard and customer funnel in Source. Follow these steps to integrate your CRM or use website tracking to define your funnel stages.
1. Give Your Dashboard a Unique Name
Start by giving your dashboard a distinct name. This name will help you easily identify your dashboard and will be visible in shared reports.
Enter the desired name in the "Dashboard Name" field and click Continue.
2. Add a Couple of Goals
Setting goals helps track key performance indicators (KPIs) crucial for your business. You can add goals such as tracking budget, conversion rates, or other relevant metrics.
Click the Add button next to any suggested goals you wish to include. You can add more goals later if needed.
Once you've set your goals, click Continue.
3. Select Your Source
This step is crucial for defining your customer funnel. You have the option to integrate your CRM or use website tracking to set up your funnel steps.
For B2B Software Companies using a CRM:
HubSpot: Click Connect to integrate HubSpot and automatically import your funnel stages into Source.
Salesforce: Click Connect to integrate Salesforce, which will also import your funnel stages.
For Self-serve SaaS Companies or eCommerce Companies without a CRM:
Website Tracking: Select this option to manually define your funnel stages based on website interactions.
4. Define the Customer Funnel
After selecting your source, define the stages of your customer funnel. For CRM integrations like HubSpot or Salesforce, Source will automatically import your existing funnel stages.
If using Website Tracking, manually set up each stage of your funnel to match your business process, including stages like Subscriber, Lead, Marketing Qualified Lead, Sales Qualified Lead, Opportunity, Customer, and more.
