How to connect Source Pixel to your Source account

Updated this week

Source Pixel → Setup Guide

  1. Install the Pixel
    Step 1: Log into Source.
Step 2: Click the gear Settings icon on the left navigation, then open Pixel Settings.
Step 3: Copy your Source Pixel script.
Step 4 (Direct install): Paste the script into the <head> of every page on the domains/subdomains you want to track.
Step 4 (GTM option): In Google Tag Manager, create a Custom HTML tag, paste the pixel, set trigger to All Pages, and publish.
Step 5 (Optional selectors): In Pixel Settings, add query selectors (e.g., email field) if you want to capture identifiers from forms.
Step 6: Deploy your site / publish your container. Once published, the pixel is active.

  2. Using the Pixel
The Pixel tracks sessions, UTMs, and first-party cookies. Pair with your ad platforms and CRM for full-funnel attribution. Use Pixel diagnostics in Pixel Settings to confirm events are firing.

  3. Disable the Pixel in Source
Step 1: In Source → Settings → Pixel Settings, toggle Disable tracking (if available) or clear selectors and Save.
(If your workspace does not provide a toggle, skip to Uninstall.)

Uninstall the Pixel from Your Site

Remove the pixel script from your site’s <head>, or delete the Custom HTML tag in GTM and publish. Clear any remaining selectors in Pixel Settings.
